We are Vellore Institute of Technology's only Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) team. Our team, composed of engineering undergraduates from diverse disciplines, has independently designed, built, and programmed our first vehicle with a vision of participating in leading competitions.
Our goal is to compete passionately and innovate continuously. Our vehicle is designed to navigate underwater gates, identify obstacles, and manipulate objects autonomously, showcasing cutting-edge technology and a commitment to excellence. Mechanical
The mechanical sub-team designs and builds the AUV's components, ensuring durability with finite element analysis. We manufacture parts in-house with 0.005-inch precision and test them underwater up to fifty feet.

Electronics
The electronics sub-team integrates the AUV's electrical systems with custom PCBs, enhancing functionality and reliability with modular designs and efficient battery management.

Software
The software sub-team develops and refines the AUV's control code, including vehicle control and computer vision. Our software, used in many competitions& is also shared with the community.

The management and editorial team oversees daily operations, social media, sponsor engagement, and documentation, ensuring smooth operation and effective representation.
